Just who am I, anyway …
I’m TM Petaccia – and my very first Mac was the very first Mac (well, not serial #…001, but definitely the original “1984″ 128K box). My initial plan was to use it in my then new role as a freelance advertising copywriter. Well, one thing leads to another, friends ask me for advice, ad clients ask for advice. Before you know it, I’m a full-fledged consultant. Isn’t that always the way?
In the 30+ years since first experiencing that new Mac smell, I’ve been providing a number of Macintosh, network, and internet-related services to the fine folks and businesses in the Charlotte, NC area – as well as select clients across the USA.
In addition, the creative juices are still flowing – now in concert with acquired technical acumen – in the form of web design and various digital media practices.
Everything from setting up new hardware to installing system software and application software to mapping out and getting your wired/wireless LAN off and running.
Finding, and when possible correcting, what went wrong – on a network, hardware, system, application, or document level.
If your computer can still connect to the internet, a remote GoToAssist session may be all you need to get you up and running smoothly without an onsite service call.
Service to fully evaluate your hardware and software needs before you buy (may at client’s discretion include one or more “no-obligation” quotes from area vendors, eCommerce, and mail order firms).
An evaluation to see if your computers are running at optimum efficiency. You’ll receive a full report for each workstation audited, plus an estimate for any applicable upgrades or other recommended purchases or services.
