Adobe has announced that Acrobat 9 is now available. The new version includes a number of new and enhanced features, including:
- The ability to embed Flash content
- Built-in Pantone color libraries
- New PDF Portfolios allow users to assemble layouts, drawings, images, video, audio, and other files into a single dynamic customizable document
- Enhanced Form Wizard, with the ability to export to XML
- Much improved collaboration tools
- Enhanced print preflight tools
- Improved layer controls
- Improved optimization options

In addition to individual upgrades, the new Acrobat 9 is also now included in a new series of Creative Suite 3.3 upgrades (where applicable) – starting at $159.00. In more news, the Creative Suite Design Premium 3.3 now includes Fireworks CS3. This was previously only bundled with the Web series.
